campers.
Your responsibilities include:

•Supervising campers during activities
•Assisting with program preparation and clean-up
•Being a positive role model for children
Helping create a supportive and inclusive summer camp environment
What Will You Learn?
Our CIT program is designed to teach valuable life skills that will benefit you in future leadership roles, jobs,
and beyond.
You’ll gain:
•Leadership skills
•Public speaking confidence
•Teamwork experience
•Knowledge on how to lead groups of children safely
•Behavior management strategies
•Risk management and safety awareness
•Decision-making abilities
A deeper understanding of interdependency within a community
Where Can You Volunteer?
CITs have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at two exciting summer programs:
•Rec Junior
•Recreation Station
By joining our CIT Program, you’ll gain valuable skills, make new friends, and have an unforgettable summer experience while making a positive impact on younger campers!
Due to our shift to a self-funded program, we have a limited number of paid summer staff positions available. We appreciate the strong interest each year, but we are not able to hire every volunteer who applies. Hiring decisions are based on program needs, returning staff, and enrollment numbers.
